Summer 2026 events: Seattle and Japan
We’re spending the summer attending some exciting Robotics, AI, game developer, and startup events across Seattle and Japan from June through August. Our focus will be on product development, networking, and research partnerships. By the end of the summer we’ll announce and release several projects.
Seattle events
- Seattle Deep Tech Week, June 8–12: a decentralized series of demos, talks, and founder gatherings across the city’s rich-tech scene.
- AI Con USA, June 7–12, Hyatt Regency Seattle (also online): a developer conference spanning generative AI, agents, MLOps, and applied machine learning.
Japan events

Our focus shifts to Japan mid-summer, centered on Tokyo, Yokohama, and Osaka.
- Tokyo Physical AI Expo, July 1–3, Tokyo Big Sight: Japan’s first expo dedicated to AI that operates in the real world; robotics, perception, and sensing.
- CEDEC, July 22–24, Pacifico Yokohama: Japan’s largest game-development conference, this year themed “Co-Create.”
- KubeCon + CloudNativeCon Japan, July 29–30, Pacifico Yokohama: the CNCF’s Japan event on Kubernetes and cloud-native infrastructure.
- AI Expo Tokyo NEO, August 5–6, Tokyo International Forum: a focused AI trade show from RX Japan, the team behind NexTech Week.
Networking in Japan
We’ll be visiting incubator and coworking hubs throughout the Tokyo and Osaka areas for regular visits and events.
- CIC Tokyo, Toranomon: startup meetings and networking in Tokyo.
- Impact Hub Tokyo: coworking and community space for sit-downs.
- Knowledge Salon, Osaka: tech exhibitions, startup networking, and coworking in Osaka.
Remote events
- Google I/O (wrapped in May): Google’s annual developer event covering Android, AI, and platform updates.
- Microsoft Build, June 2–3: Microsoft’s developer conference, online and in San Francisco, heavy on AI tooling and Windows.
- WWDC, June 8–12: Apple’s developer week, online, previewing the next round of hardware, OS, and developer tools.
